Basketball fans looking to experience March Madness in Des Moines can get an up-close look at each NCAA Tournament team assigned here. For free.

On Wednesday all eight teams will hold 40-minute practices at Wells Fargo Arena, with doors opening at 10 a.m. and shootarounds starting at 11.

Teams playing in Des Moines were announced Sunday night. Tournament games here will be played on Thursday and Saturday.

Schedule: Doors open at 10 a.m. March 20 and the first practice will start at 11. There will be a 90-minute break after the fourth practice.

Here's when each team is practicing:

  • Minnesota Gophers: 11-11:40 a.m.
  • Bradley Braves: 11:45 a.m.-12:25 p.m.
  • Louisville Cardinals: 12:30-1:10 p.m.
  • Michigan State Spartans: 1:15-1:55 p.m.
  • Nevada Wolfpack: 3:25-4:05 p.m.
  • Michigan Wolverines: 4:10-4:50 p.m.
  • Florida Gators: 4:55-5:35 p.m.
  • Montana Grizzlies: 5:40-6:20 p.m.

Where: Wells Fargo Arena, 233 Center St. in Des Moines. 

Parking: Parking at the Iowa Events Center/Wells Fargo Arena is complimentary on practice day, although availability is limited.
